finally! one of my most favorite animes is now here in the philippines. yamato nadeshiko shichihenge (perfect girl evolution) also known as "the wallflower" is part of the line-up of abc 5's reformatting to tv 5: shake mo tv mo, and will be shown, mondays, tuesdays and thursdays at 6:30 pm starting on august 6.the story goes like, four pretty boys are tasked by their landlady to turn her niece into a very fine, young lady and if they are successful, the rent will be free. easier said than done especially if these boys find out that the landlady's niece is a goth girl who wants to stay in the darkness surrounded by skulls, skeletons and other scary ("must-have") objects... teeheehee...
i've watched the whole series for like a hundred times already (in japanese with english subs) but i still wanna watch it on tv and see how they sound in filipino/tagalog. season 1 has 25 episodes all in all, though i'm not satisfied with the ending. i hope there would be season 2. i bet it would have because the manga is still ongoing. and the plot is getting more and more intense as the story continues. i'll keep my fingers crossed for that!
